For Immediate Release
The Democratic Party of Osceola County Florida recently held elections for the Democratic Executive Committee officers on December 6th. The membership voted to promote Vice Chair Deborah Gale to the position of Chair, and our Membership Committee Chair Melody Bernal to State Committeewoman. Our State Committeeman, FDP Secretary, and DNC member Casmore Shaw adds to his impressive list responsibilities the position of Osceola DEC Vice Chair. Kristen Arrington joins the officers as the new Recording Secretary. Thomas Bernal retains his post as Corresponding Secretary. Recent Democratic candidate for State Representative Barbara Cady joins as our new Treasurer.
The new officers would like to invite all Osceola Democrats to get involved in their party by attending our next monthly meeting, 7:00pm on January 24th, 2019, at the Seasons Florida Resort, 4736 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746. We hold an orientation just prior at 6:30pm which should be of interest to newcomers and party veterans alike.
Please join us in the important task of getting ready for the 2020 general election. We need your help not only to defeat Trump’s hatred and the harmful Republican agenda, but to share our platform of Education, Employment, and Environment with the good people of Osceola County.
